Foundations for glowing skin

One of the biggest trends this spring is healthy glowing skin and natural makeup, so no matter how much you love a full coverage foundation try and opt for a lighter coverage foundation. My favourites are the Mac water weight foundation or Nars sheer glow foundation or if you prefer to use a good bb creme or go fresh-faced for the day.

Foundation or no foundation always remember a good skincare routine is the key to healthy-looking, glowing skin. Always remember to moisturise your skin both morning and night to keep your skin revitalized and soft. A couple of my favourite light feeling moisturizers are: Clinique's 'dramatically different moisturising lotion +' and Clinique's 'moisture surge' works well for my combination skin and has stopped my skin from getting too dry, Olay Regenerist whips and when I want to use something a little more luxurious I opt for my 'Magic cream' by charlotte tilbury.

Spring blush and highlighters

A light pink or coral blush lightly swiped across the cheeks and a subtle highlight giving you that natural fresh-faced glow. one of my favourites which has been around for a while but it's as good today as ever is MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Powder LIGHTSCAPADE it works well with my skin tone but can show up blinding bright if your too heavy-handed, but of course, you know what works well for your skin tone.

Eyes are the gateway to the soul as they say so don't go covering them with loads of colours that distract from your natural beauty.

True a single shade of beige can make you look a little washed out but when you combine two shades or add a little pop of glitter it will look stunning. try using the lighter shades from any of the 'naked' Pallett's from Urban Decay or I have another great all in one shadow is one of Charlotte Tilbury's 'Jewel pots' in the pillow Talk shad, it's a unique pink cream eyeshadow, it has a multi-tonal finish perfect for a special occasion.

Finish the eyes with mascara for a day time look try using a brown mascara, a more natural look try the Mink-brown tinted primer from Benefit it can be worn alone or under your favourite mascara the gel formula conditions lashes with Provitamin B5 leaves lashes soft enough to layer mascara or No7 Intense Volume Waterproof Mascara in Brown/Black and night time the Benefit Roller Lash - Super-Curling Black Mascara.

Obviously, any natural makeup look isn't complete without a nude lip or a light pink shade lipstick. Alternate between a few different shades like MAC's 'creme cup' and 'Brave' shades they have nice your lips but better appearance another good example is charlotte Tilbury 'pillow talk' shade it gives you that extra pop to your lips.

five shades of nude lipsticks for all skin tones by MAC cosmetics reviewed by beautifullyoriginal.com
Perfect nude lipsticks for spring

I have a good review on some other natural lips colour choices if you're not sure what shade of brand to pick, 'the best everyday lipsticks for women'.

On the catwalks, there was a presence of all-natural make up with uber bright lipstick shades like bright blue and neon purple, while this looks good on the catwalks in real life situation those neon shades tend to not look as good. but if you want that statement lip why not try Ruby roo by MAC it is a perfect bold red or Maybelline 'SuperStay matte ink lipstick in Pioneer both will make you stand out from the crowd.
